Dog Sitting is overnight stays in your home for when you are away on a trip, anytime 365 days of the year. You can be assured your home and pets will be in excellent hands.
1 day is a 24 hour cycle and it begins when I arrive at your home. All dogs will get 2 minimum thirty minute walks a day, with lots of potty breaks, feeding, exercise and playtimes. If your dog is up to it, they will also get free baths. It is Dogalized Petcare, and all the details for your dog’s care taking will be discussed at our Meet and Greet session, such as any special dietary needs, medications, their favorite games to play, or any concerns you may have.
Dog Sitting is different than Dog Boarding. Dog Sitting is at your home and it is preferable over dog boarding which is where they leave their home. Dogs, like people, may experience separation anxiety, and it can be traumatic for them to not only have their owner be absent but to also be in unfamiliar surroundings at the same time. Dogs who have regular daily routines will feel more secure in the comfort of their own home. Dog sitting also comes with a built in “house sitter” without any additional fees!
You will be sent texts with photos and be informed of our activities throughout the stay, so you know your pet dog is being well taken care of, safe, having fun, and being incredibly loved.
$70/night/dog, $20 additional dog
$90/night for puppies up to 1 yr. Unless it’s the 2nd dog in same household.
$100/night/dog for major holidays, $30 additional dog ( Presidents Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve )
For all dog sitting a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the other 50% is due at the beginning of the stay.
The special “extended stay rate” begins after 5 consecutive days of reservation. This means that for the first 5 days, the rate is the regular rate, but after the 5th day, it is half the rate. If you reserve 10 days consecutively, the rate is half for the latter 5 days.
Dog Sitting is available in the city of San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco/Marin County. For San Diego and SF it must be for at least 1 week duration, due to long distance travel.
